Tiny Hyuugas, protecting toddler Hinata. Implied/headcanon. (trivial positive)
Description: Okay, I like to keep my headcanon not too specific. That's probably shown by now. The basics come down to Neji, as a tiny (about three or so) being told for the first time that he'll have to protect his cousin. Not the lecture his father gives him when the curse seal is activated—probably something a lot more off hand and informal.
Tiny Neji takes this news very seriously, and spends some time protecting Hinata-sama from such threats as mean stray cats, bees, and suspicious mudpuddles.
Notes:
-Oh no, it's cute!
-Not a very pivotal memory. It makes Neji's later problems with his family a little sadder, but those were patched up anyway so there's not much use dwelling on it.
-Just a tiny bit more protectiveness toward people he likes. Possibly a little bit of possessiveness, too.
-In the end, no major changes.
